I got an offer!
EEE! Just yesterday, received an email from UCAS Track telling me my application status had changed. Had the URL for Track memorised (I admit to being a dork) and with bated breath, logged in (computer too slow and laggy even though I had all my login information automatically filled out). What did I see, you ask?1) Royal Holloway, University of London, has offered me a conditional offer2) This offer is subject to your obtaining Advanced Placement Examinations OBTAINING 4 FROM 5 IN CALCULUSErgo:1) Squee'd2) Thought about it for a bit, and decided 4 in AP Calculus AB was a pretty low offer from RHUL and rejoiced3) Thought about the fact that I scored the highest mark on our AP Calculus test out of a class of 6 (66%)4) Squeeing balloon punctured and deflated rapidlyThat aside...I have an offer, I have an offer, nyaaaaah! (This is for a collective you who don't believe in Canadian students receiving offers from a high ranking London university)

A snippet taken from our communication technology class forum:
Topic: How has online shopping influence people's choice of food.
My group: Dorothy and Renita...and of cox MEEE (cyN)
Goddamnit, people, cox != because.COX = COCKS. PENISES. SCHLONGS. DING-DONGS. ONE-EYED SNAKE. WANG.Dude. It's a fucking dick. Actually, no, wait. They're dicks. Plural.STOP PUTTING DICKS INTO YOUR SENTENCES WHEN YOU MEAN TO PUT IN A TRANSITION WORD.Contrary to popular belief, penises do not connect sentences. They are pussy-rammers.Now. Having said that, take your bloody cox out of your sentences, because you sure ain't got any. This entry merits the ! snoopy face. I need an angry icon.

I have been assimilated into geekdom
For I have finally spent the New Year's Eve countdown at home, on MSN. :) 'Twas a lot quieter this year, it seems, but what do I know? I just spent my final moments of 2005 messaging people frantically (the very sad people who were still online, like me) and counting down for a friend. Here's to 2006. Cheers and a glass of apple cider!
